Strange Attractor (featuring Anthony Kelly, Danny McCarthy, Irene Murphy, Mick O’Shea and David Stalling), will perform a three-hour improvisational sound performance; an experiment with technology and combined media to explore creative possibilities resulting in an experience that offers multiple points of entry for the audience.

Conch at the SLG

The Pigeon Wing will be at the South London Gallery featured in October’s Conch, a critical discussion on Wednesday 19th of October at 7PM. The Pigeon Wing will be presenting Ruth Beale, with a written contribution by Rebecca Bligh (an extended version of which is available HERE). Join us this Saturday 15th of October for the closing of Matt Lewis’ current Racing Pigeon project. At 7.30pm there will be a performance by Tom Slater and Tom Parkinson of the score that Matt Lewis has developed from the GPS data collected from his racing pigeon voyages.

Closing event 7-9pm October 15th. Free event.

We Can Elude Control is a free event at Peckham’s Bold Tenancies Carpark roof sculpture park& bar. This event on 21/08/11 invoves 3 artist from The Pigeon Wing as well as Mark Fell (SND, Mego Editions), Mick Harris (Scorn/Napalm Death), Shelley Parker, Alex Thomas, Vasco Alves & Louie Rice and Emily Whitebread.

Through both a local and international focus it celebrates new strategies within sonic performance, reflecting on noise, texture and tonality, the legacy of minimalism and the evolving relationship between old and new media. Curated by Paul Purgas

It’s really just a journal printed on the occasion of the 2011 grad show.
