Oliver Robinson and Frederick Fuller

Oliver Robinson’s work explores the constraints involved with creating beauty within a constructive framework. The sculptures Robinson produces have a delicate and nostalgic presence. His work endeavours to gain some form of genealogical acceptance or appreciation. The acceptance that Robinson tries to emulate is reflected in the, ‘D.I.Y’ production and the domestic materials he explores.

Frederick Fuller’s work ranges from large text banners to crude collage compositions. He is interested in the universal meanings that can come with using common symbols or recognisable motifs and he attributes these to certain times and places. His work often comments on the past but may evoke memories of an apocalyptic future. Frederick Fuller often steps away from the fast flowing information we are given in everyday life and critiques it in a humorous way.
