Racing pigeon flights have been taking place over the last month from The Pigeon Wing roof. Flights will continue over the two-week period of the project. These flights create data from GPS units attached to the pigeons, recording coordinates of their flight, airspeed and distance travelled. This information triggers what audio material is drawn from a collection including environmental recordings made from The Pigeon Wing roof and rhythmic and pitch material generated by the pigeons route coordinates in SuperCollider.

The GPS data also becomes the formula for the structure of the musical score that Matt Lewis has prepared. Musicians Tom Slater and Tom Parkinson will play this score on the 15^th of October.

Screenings of documentaries on pigeon culture are being screened, including Simply The Best, Volume 2 and THE LOFT, volume 1.
